The sunflower fields east of Denver are already a magical sight, but to have some dark and brooding skies from a nearby severe thunderstorm added to the mix is almost too much to ask for. The 2019 vintage of the sunflowers near Denver International Airport are just as good as other years, maybe even a little better with all of the active weather we’ve been having.
